It was an early morning in new-leaf and the sun was shinning as bright as ever. A orange tom had settled down in a beautiful field covered with fresh blades of grass beside the loner nest. Blaze stretched his body out to bask in the warm sunlight enjoying the warmth on his body. He closed his eyes and memories of his brother and father flooded his mind.
The amazing muscular jet black tom who he was proud to call his father, prowled the land as if he were king. So much power surged through his bones, and eventually passed on to his oldest son, first out of his mothers belly, Flash. Blaze could still see his calico fur, the mix of his fathers black pelt and his mothers orange and white swaying as the wind blew over him. Oh how Blaze wish he could smell the sweat scent of his kin again, he would do anything.

Creamy brown eyes slowly opened to the bright sunlight of the morning that was coming through one of the large windows of the barn most loners called home. Echo stood and stretched her slender body, her mouth opening to a large yawn. She sat down and groomed herself; considering she always slept on one of the stacks of hay bales whenever she woke there would be some hay stuck in her fur. Finally, when she had gotten all the stray hale out of her fur, she stood and jumped down from the tall hay stack. She padded out of the barn and into a beautiful morning. A nice cool breeze rustled her pelt and made the grass sway as she sat down in the middle of it, the sun's rays beating down on her back. She looked out across the swaying grass and her eyes found the orange pelt of a cat. She made no move to approach but instead lied down with her head on her paws and looked out into the distance; enjoying the fresh morning. She would most likely eventually end up going to greet the cat but for now she was going to enjoy the nice morning.

With the sway of the early morning breeze, a unfamiliar scent of another cat drifted up his nose. Curious, the orange tabbys head rose up in the direction that the scent came from. The sun shinned in his eyes but squinting slightly he could see a outline of a cat by the loner barn. Being as friendly as he was Blaze was always in the mood to make a friend, he had no one else to socialize with after his father and brother Flash died. He really felt alone in the world but he knew he wasn't the only one still alive in his family. Robinflight a warrior of Eagleclan still thrives, and one day the tom would visit her, if he could just find someone to help him muster up the courage. Blaze stood to his paws and gave his pelt a couple quick licks, than he was off. As he got closer he saw the cat more clearly, it was a pretty ginger colored she-cat with brown eyes. "Hello there" he meowed nicely settling down in front of the she-cat.

Echo's ears twitched as she heard pawsteps coming towards her. She raised her head off of her paws to the orange cat she had seen before she had lied down. She carefully watched as the tom settled down in the slightly swaying grass in front of her. "Hello, and who might you be?" Echo looked over the tom, only moving her eyes in a sorta slow motion. The first thing that her eyes saw was a scar that curved down his neck. Her eyes went from the scar to his muscular shoulders and then to the white, powerful looking paws that he had. The tom seemed quite strong but nice as far as she could tell.

Bubbie woke up in his usuall nest on the far side of the twoleg nest. He'd been there for awhile had seen many cats come through the nest. He hopped out of the nest and groomed his thick grey fur. He could hear two cats talking out side and guessed that he should just leave them be. After grooming and seeing who was new around the nest he padded out to go in search of prey. He walked by the two cats talking in the grass, nodded and said a quick greating to them. Bubbie had walk no more than a couple of fox lengths before he cought the scent of mouse. He dove quickly into the bushes and got in position to leap.
